In October 2009, Federal Air launched their Zimbabwe shuttle service, between Harare and Kariba, to improve regular access to the Zambezi valley and Kariba areas. This was the first foray into Zimbabwe’s domestic aviation arena for the airline, who say they intend to become a long term air service provider in the region.

Miss Tourism Bulawayo reps get ready for finals

Bulawayo’s representatives at the Miss Tourism Zimbabwe are undergoing grooming therapy ahead of the final that will be staged in Harare on 6 February.
“Past participants at the national event such as Happiness Tshuma and Nomakhosazana are helping the girls with tips on how to impress the judges during camp. They are also going to the ZTA offices in Bulawayo to get as much information as they can lay their hands on to do with the country’s tourism industry,” said the Miss Tourism Bulawayo licence holder, Sarah Mpofu.
