Hail the Champs!
Zimbabwe’s Warriors won their fourth Cosafa Senior Men’s Challenge Cup following their impressive triumph over Zambia before a capacity crowd at Rufaro yesterday.
The Warriors’ first success came in 2000 with Misheck Chidzambwa as coach while William Mugeyi was the captain when Zimbabwe thrashed Lesotho 6-0 on aggregate.
In 2003, Sunday Chidzambwa then led the team with skipper Peter Ndlovu lifting the cup while Charles Mhlauri’s charges won in South Africa with James Matola as the leader of their troops on the field of play.... read more |

Cosafa commends Zimbabweans
THE management of the Council of Southern African Football Associations (Cosafa) Senior Men’s Challenge has expressed its gratitude to stakeholders in Zimbabwean football for the role they have played in administering the tournament so far.

‘Tourism Night to become bigger’
Plans are afoot to make the Tourism Night bigger and better next year after this year’s resounding success, a Zimbabwe Tourism Authority official has said.
The Tourism Night, a music and cultural gala, has become the highlight of Sanganai/Hlanganani World Travel and Tourism Africa Fair where revelers often turn up in their numbers for the gig.
The show that was staged on October 17 was a huge success.
